The Leading Anti-Racism Change in Education Collaborative is a small-group, cohort approach to building capacity to accelerate action and change towards racial equity and social justice in K-12 school districts.

The program has 4 primary objectives:

The program has 3 components:

 

Building icon

Summer Institute for District Teams

A multi-day institute focused on improvement science, research, racial equity action planning, and team building and networking opportunities.

Shaking hands icon

Participant Networking

Teams will participate in monthly meetings (online and face-to-face) for in-depth discussions, professional development experiences, and engagements with guest presenters.

Whistle icon

Group Coaching

Coaching and consulting support will be available to teams as they develop and implement their racial equity action plans.


Participating Districts 2021

The Collaborative is designed for K-12 district teams who are focused on leading anti-racism, equity and diversity initiatives in their school districts. Districts are encouraged to create teams representing diverse roles and perspectives. Teams may consist of chief diversity and equity officers and their associated teams, but other team structures are welcome.
